For many families receiving care at Dell Children’s, the stress of a serious medical diagnosis is compounded by financial challenges, including reliable access to healthy food.
Through our Food Pantry, we are working to ensure that the families we serve have access to world-class pediatric healthcare and the nourishment their children need to heal. In partnership with the Central Texas Food Bank, Dell Children’s launched the pilot phase of our Food Pantry in the Children’s Blood and Cancer Center in March 2026.

Dell Children’s relies on support from the community to ensure our doors stay open and that no child is ever turned away regardless of their family’s ability to pay. Approximately 69% of the patient services Dell Children’s provides supports children who are un- or under-insured. We could not provide the same level of world class care to every child without philanthropic support.
